Getting Set Up
At a glance

What you get with your printer

Select a location for the printer.

Optional: Set the printer on the Lower Tray Assembly.

Set up the printer:
■
Load the toner cartridges.
■
Install the imaging unit.
■
Install the fuser roll cartridge.
■
Attach the extensions for the multi-purpose tray.
4.
Plug in and turn on the printer.
5.
Set the front panel language.
6.
Load paper and make a test print from the front panel.
7.
Connect the printer:

To a PC:

Connect the printer to your computer.
■
Connect optional peripherals (scanner, hard disk).

To a network:

Connect optional peripherals (scanner, hard disk).
