Remote control effective range

The effective range of the remote control's IR (infrared)

sensor is illustrated at right.
For optimum performance, aim the remote control directly

at the TV's IR sensor, and make sure there are no

obstructions between the remote control and the TV.
Note: Avoid placing the remote control's IR sensor in bright light, which

may reduce its receiving sensitivity.
