Now solve the equation 2X 2 N X + 3 = 0. When you set a+b i complex
number mode, the TI-83 Plus displays complex results.

then press ~ to position the cursor over a+b i .
Press Í to select a+b i complex-number
mode.
2. Press y 5 (above z ) to return to the
home screen, and then press ‘ to clear it.
