Sample Clock Source

The clock source can be set to “Automatic”
or “Internal.”

Automatic (default): If a clock signal is

input through the

DIGITAL IN

jack, it is

used. If no signal is input through the

DIGITAL IN

jack, this unit’s internal clock

is used.

Internal: This unit’s internal clock is

always used.

When using digital input, set this to

“Automatic.”

Digital Output Format

Set the digital output format to “AES/EBU”
or “S/PDIF.”

“ch1 and ch2” and “ch3 and ch4”

This unit sends 4 channels of signals to the
computer by USB.

Use these settings to select which of
this unit’s inputs signals are sent to each
computer input pair.

Select analog inputs or digital inputs.

LINE OUTPUTS and DIGITAL

OUTPUT

The computer inputs 4 channels of signals to
this unit by USB.

Use these settings to select the signals to
be output from this unit’s

LINE OUT

and

DIGITAL OUT

jacks.

Set them to “ch1 and ch2” or “ch3 and
ch4.”

NOTE

If you want to output Windows Media
Player or iTunes, for example, through
this unit’s DIGITAL OUT, set the “DIGITAL
OUTPUT” to “ch1 and ch2” in the Control
Panel.

USB 1.1 Mode Input Selection

This appears only when operating with USB
1.1.

Set the input source to “analog” or “digital.”
