Basic Operations
Turning the Power On and Off
1. Press the POWER button to turn on the camera in
the Record mode. Or you can press the
button to turn on the camera in the Playback mode.
2. Press the POWER button again to turn the power off.
Power Saving Function
When the camera’s power saving function is turned on, the LCD monitor will automatically turn
off in a specified amount of time after the last function is accessed. Press any button to turn on
the LCD monitor.
The camera power will auto shut off after LCD monitor turning off 1 minute, press the POWER
or the button to restore the power.
The Power Save feature does not work in the following situation:
yConnecting the camera to a computer or printer with the USB cable.
yDuring a slideshow.
yRecording a Video or Audio file.
yPlaying back a Video or Audio file.
Hint:
yYou can turn on the camera without the
start-up and operating sound by pressing
and holding the POWER or the
button over 1.5 seconds.
