Flow Protection -

If the flow of water through the heater is insufficient, the spa controller

will automatically turn off the heater to prevent overheating. The display will show

"F

LO",

indicating a flow restriction caused by a clogged filter or pump impeller

, a malfunction

of in the pressure switch or a defective pump motor. Refer to the Trouble Shooting Chart.
If you cannot pinpoint the cause, Call the Service Center for assistance.

H

ILI

Overheat Protection -

If a malfunction occurs and the spa water temperature reaches

112F, the pump and heater will turn off.

DO NO

T ENTER THE WATER.

Remove the cover

and allow the water temperature to cool down to 104 F. The pump and heater will start
normal operation when the water temperature reaches 104F. If his happens a second time
in a row,

NPLUG THE SPA AND CALL THE SERVICE CENTER FOR ASSISTANCE.

If there is an overheat condition in the spa heater (1

18F), the display will show the message

"HILI".

DO NO

T ENTER THE WATER.

Remove the cover and allow the water to cool down

to 104F. Then reset the system by holding down the "DOWN" button for 5 seconds.
If the "HILI" message returns,

NPLUG THE SPA AND CALL THE SERVICE CENTER

FOR ASSISTANCE.

ICE

Freeze Protection -

If the temperature in the spa plumbing falls below 5

0 degrees

Fahrenheit (10 degrees Celsius), the topside will display the message "ICE" to indicate
potential freeze conditions. The water pump will turn on low speed and run for one minute.
After one minute, if the water is still at 50 F, the heater will turn on and raise the temperature
10 degrees. The topside control will display the message "ICE" to indicate potential
freeze conditions.

he water temperature sensor is non-functional. Call the Service Center for

assistance and mention the displayed code.
