5. Getting started

5.1 Installing the battery

Before getting started, you’ll need to charge your Freedom Mini-laptop.
You can power it with the AC adapter or use the removable battery pack.

If your Freedom Mini-laptop doesn’t have its battery pack installed when
you receive it, simply place the battery pack into the slots on the back
of the Freedom Mini-laptop (

as shown above) and then press it down

5.2 Removing the battery

First, turn off and unplug your Freedom Mini-laptop.

Turn the computer over on a flat clean surface so you can access the base.

Slide the battery latches inwards.

Don’t try and remove the battery pack while the Freedom Mini-laptop is
turned on as this might result in loss of data.

5.3 Connecting the AC adapter

Your Freedom Mini-laptop comes with a universal AC adapter with
an input voltage of 100V to 240V.

Follow the steps below to connect the adapter:
