Playing / Recording a Tape

Playing a Tape

1. Press the STOP/EJECT button and load a cassette into the cassette compartment.

2. Press the PLAY

Y button to begin playback.

Pausing playback

Press the STOP/EJECT button.

To interrupt playback

Press the PAUSE button.

To resume play, press the PAUSE button again.

To fast wind

Press the REW (Rewind) button. or F.FWD (fast forward) button.

Press the STOP/EJECT button to stop winding at the desired position.

When the tape reaches its end

During fast wind or regular play, the tape will stop automatically when its end is reached.

Recording a Tape

1. Insert a tape into the cassette compartment.
2. Press the PAUSE button of the cassette deck.
3. Press the RECORD button which also engages the play button.

4. Press the PLAY

Y button to begin CD player.

5. Release the PAUSE button of the cassette deck.

Recording from microphones

1. Connect the hand microphone(s) to MIC jack.
2. Adjust the MIC1 and/or MIC2 Volume Controls to set desired recording level from the microphone.
3. Press the KARAOKE button.
4. Adjust the ECHO/KEY CONTROL/VOCAL controls.
5. Insert a tape into the cassette compartment.
6. Press the PAUSE button of the cassette deck.
7. Press the RECORD button.
8. Press the PAUSE button again.

Recording from microphone mixing sound

1. Connect the microphone(s) to MIC Socket and turn the switch on.
2. Select and play the desired music source (CD/CDG/DVD).
3. Press the KARAOKE button.
4. Adjust the KEY CONTROL/VOCAL controls.
5. Connect the hand microphone(s) to MIC jack.
6. Adjust the MIC1 and/or MIC2 Volume Controls to set desired recording level from the microphone.
7. Adjust the ECHO control.
8. Insert a tape into the cassette compartment.
9. Press the PAUSE button of the cassette deck.
10. Press the RECORD button.
11. Press the PAUSE button again.
