Troubleshooting and

Maintenance

This chapter gives solutions to common V35 problems you may encounter when

using the device. It also provides guidelines on taking care of your V35.

NOTE: If you encounter a problem you cannot solve, contact your reseller or

ViewSonic Customer Support. See the “Customer Support” section at the end of

this chapter.

Resetting your V35

CAUTION: Resetting will cause unsaved data to be lost.

Resetting your V35 is similar to restarting your PC. It restarts the operating

system, but you will lose any unsaved data. Occasionally, you may need to

reset your V35. For example, you should reset your V35:

• After you restore data from your PC.
• When your V35 stops responding. (In other words, it appears to be “frozen”

or “locked up.”)

Follow this procedure to reset your V35:

Remove the memory card (if installed).
