21.1 Getting Help
21.1.1 Touch-Screen Help

There are multiple ways to get help with

Verizon One

:

• Touch

at the top of any screen to

fi nd instructions and helpful tips for that

screen.
• From the

Home

screen, access the

Menu, and then the

Help

icon – to

locate general instructions and FAQs.

21.1.2 Help with Your DSL Service

Your PC

You must ensure that your computer

meets minimum system requirements.

Otherwise, your DSL service will not

work properly. Visit our online tool at:

http://www.verizon.net/checkmypc

for instructions.

Your DSL Service Ready Date

By following the

Welcome

screens on

the

Verizon One

display (see section

7.2)

Verizon One

will automatically check

for an active DSL connection and notify

you when your Service Ready Date has

arrived. However, if you would like to fi nd

out when your service will be activated,

visit:

www.verizon.com/dslorderstatus

.

DSL Installation

Once

Verizon One

has detected an active

DSL Connection and notifi ed you that your

DSL Service Ready Date has arrived,

Verizon One

will instruct you to insert

the DSL Installation CD to complete your

DSL registration. Inserting the CD into

your primary computer will then provide

Step-by-Step Instructions for installing DSL

Filters in your home, and assist you with

your account set-up.

The Verizon Online Support Center

Once you install your CD software, click

the “Verizon Online Support Center” icon

(the question mark on your desktop). It

works even when your computer is offl ine.

if you

have an active Internet connection.
