RECORDING USING THE MDX-M5 OR KX-M5

Manual recording

You can record from the built-in tuner, CD, MDX-M5, or
KX-M5. You can use the MDX-M5 or KX-M5 for
recording manually. For recording operations, see the
instructions of each.

To cancel Automatic CD edit recording

Press

(CRX-M5) while setting Automatic CD edit

recording.

To stop Automatic CD edit recording

Press

7

(CRX-M5).

Notes

• When the MD or tape becomes full before end of the

recording, each unit stops.

• Adjusting the VOLUME control has no effect on the

recording level.

Prepare the source to be recorded.

For tuner
Tune in to the station you will record.

For CD player
Insert the desired disc into the unit. If more than
one disc are inserted into the unit, select the disc
by pressing DISC 1 – 3.

For the MDX-M5 or KX-M5
Insert the desired MD or cassette tape into the
corresponding unit.

Press INPUT to select the source to be recorded
from.

Begin recording using the appropriate recording
operation of the selected unit.
