Mode
If you use any access point to build up wireless network, you
have to select “Infrastructure Mode”. If you do not have any
access point and want to use peer-to-peer connection to build up
wireless network, you have to select “Ad-Hoc Mode”.
ESSID
You can use
“Site Survey” function to let the Storage Server
scan for an available access point or peer-to-peer network
automatically or manually assign the ESSID (or SSID) of the
access point or peer-to-peer network you want to use.
Channel
In Ad-Hoc Mode, you have to assign the channel number used by
the peer-to-peer network.
Site Survey
Click “Site Survey” button to select an available access point or
peer-to-peer network nearby. Please refer to the following Site
Survey section for details.
Security Settings
If your wireless network is not protected by encryption, you can
select
“Disable”. If your wireless network is protected by
encryption, you can select
“WEP” or “WPA pre-shared key”
according to your network configurations. Please refer to the
following Security Settings section for details.
Click <Apply> at the bottom of the screen to save the configurations.
