Clean the motor unit and the gear housing of the meat mincer with a moist cloth.

Never immerse the motor unit and the gear housing of the meat mincer in water nor rinse it

under the tap.

Clean the parts that have come into contact with food in hot water with some washing-up

liquid immediately after use.

Clean the blade unit of the food processor, the discs, the slicing insert of the adjustable slicing

disc and the cutter unit of the meat mincer very carefully. The cutting edges are very sharp.
Note: All parts, except the motor unit and the parts of the meat mincer, can also be cleaned in

the dishwasher.

- Make sure that the cutting edges of the blades and the discs do not come into contact with

hard objects. This could cause them to become blunt.

- You can disassemble the balloon beater for more thorough cleaning (see section ‘Balloon beater’

in this chapter).

- To remove the lid of the blender jar, open it and then pull it upwards. Only remove the lid for

cleaning purposes. (Fig. 44)
Quick-cleaning the blender jar

Pour lukewarm water (not more than 0.5 litres) and some washing-up liquid into the blender

jar (Fig. 45).

Close the lid and insert the stopper into the lid.

Turn the control knob to PULSE a few times.

Detach the blender jar and rinse it with clean water.

Balloon beater

Always clean the balloon beater immediately after use.

You can disassemble the balloon beater for thorough cleaning.

Pull the beater out of the gear housing. (Fig. 46)

Pull the latch sideways to open the gear housing (Fig. 47).

Take out the two gearwheels (Fig. 48)

Clean all parts in hot water with some washing-up liquid or in the dishwasher.

Insert the beater.

Reassembling the balloon beater

Insert the small gearwheel into the housing. Then insert the larger gearwheel.

Snap the bottom housing part onto the top part. Make sure both ends snap home with a

click. (Fig. 49)

Turn the adjusting knob clockwise (1) and remove it from the disc (2). (Fig. 50)

Remove the slicing insert from the disc.

Clean all parts in hot water with some washing-up liquid or in the dishwasher.

Meat mincer

The parts of the meat mincer are not dishwasher-proof!
