4. Yard/meter setting

there is a switch under the
battery cover that allows
you to select between yard
or meter measurements.
the factory setting is yard.
the display indicates

whether the instrument is
set to yard or meter. to
change this setting, remove
the battery cover and use a
small screwdriver to reset
this switch (see 3.3.).

5. Setting the sliding eyecup

• Use without eyeglasses:
Pull the eyecup out as far
as it will go.

• Use with eyeglasses:
Push the eyecup in as far
as it will go.

6. adjusting focus

• Under normal viewing
conditions, the reference
setting is based on a

target in focus at a distance
of 100 m/yds. For indivi-
dual eye acuity or other
distances.

• First turn the eyecup to
the left (counter-clockwise)
as far as it will go.

• Then turn the eyecup
clockwise to the right until
the target is in optimum
focus.
• Maximum setting range
is - 5 dpt to + 14 dpt. the

shortest focusing distance of 4 m/13 ft when
observing corresponds to 14 dpt.
