This consists of an instant-inflating bag contained in a spe-
cial compartment under the steering wheel at knee level,

Should it be absolutely necessary to carry a child on the
front seat, the passenger front and side airbags can be de-
activated. The instrument panel warning light “ will stay
on constantly until the passenger front and side airbags are
reactivated.
