Information Item Meaning
DSN Name Data Source Name, label of the currently used ODBC link.
DBMS Database Management System type and version.
Libraries List of the existing DLL libraries. When the user selects a
library name from the list, the corresponding version is
displayed next to the field.
Database Server
Current Time Date and time from the Database server.
2.3. The Outlook Bar
The Outlook bar presents nine tabs. They correspond to the areas managed by Xedio
Manager.
When Xedio Manager is started for the first time, only the Media and Users tabs are
shown. You need to create a media server before being able to see all the tabs. See
section "Media Servers" on page 32.
The following table briefly describes the various categories:
Subject Purpose
Encoders Manages (create, delete and modify) encoders and sets up their
parameters.
LinX Manages interactions with EVS video servers.
Machines Manages interactions with external devices such as VTR, archive servers,
XFile and EVS servers.
