SETUP
MODE SELECTION :
The VM122 features 4 operating modes, selectable with diodes D16 and D17.
1) 15 independent outputs.
2) 15 rotary outputs (only 1 output can be on at a time).
3) 7 independent outputs & 8 rotary outputs.
4) 7 rotary outputs & 8 rotary outputs (independent from each other).
DEFAULT MODE = 4
To select another setting, cut the corresponding diode according to the table (see figure).
For certain applications, the diode must be cut or moved by means of a soldering iron and de-soldering braid.
The diodes used here are of the 1N4148 type, which is a universal small signal diode that is readily available in electronics
stores.
Momentary (push button-) function : Hold the key to activate the output and release the key to deactivate it.
Toggle function : Operates according to the principle of a classic switch, i.e. you have to press the key once to switch and
press again to deactivate it.
