Installation

Setting Up
1.
Open all four catches [C] (two on the front, two on the back) and take the speakers [A] off the mixing

console [B].

2. Unfold the speaker stands [G] and place them on a level and sturdy surface. Mount the speakers on the

speaker stands.
Or, if you are not using the speaker stands, place the speakers on a level and sturdy surface.

3. Place the mixing console on a table (not incl.) and connect the speakers to the rear panel [F,29] using the

included speaker cables.
Caution: Always switch the device off before you connect speakers.

4. Set all volume controls on the control panel [H,5,24] to zero.
5. Connect audio devices, such as a microphone (incl.) or an MP3 player (not incl.) to the mixing console as

necessary. Refer to Overview for more information on inputs and outputs.

6. Plug the power cord into the power cord connector [28] and plug it into a suitable mains outlet.
7. Make sure the ventilation openings [30] in the rear panel are clear. Remove any objects (spare cables, etc.)

that may block them.
Note: Store spare cables or other parts in the storage compartments [D].

8. Switch on [27] the mixing console first.
9. Switch on the connected audio devices.
10. Slowly increase the volume of the connected channels to the desired level.

Connecting/Disconnecting Audio Devices During a Presentation
If you need to connect an extra audio device during a presentation:
1. Set the volume control of the applicable input channel to zero.
2. Connect the audio device to the input channel.
3. Switch on the audio device.
4. Slowly increase the volume to the desired level.
