Hall of Fame Mini Reverb 15

Frequently asked
questions

“Is it possible to run this TonePrint
pedal in the line-level effects loop
(Send/Return) of a tube amp?”

Yes. All TonePrint pedals have a very wide gain
range and are designed to run at both instrument
and line level.

There are few amps such as the CAE OD100,
which are capable of running much hotter than
regular +4 dBu line level signals because of the
way their effect loops are designed – with these
amps, you can basically use the amp send level
as a type of master volume. For those models it
might be possible to get the input to clip – but
for 99% of all amps, the TonePrint pedals will
work just fine.

“Is Hall of Fame Mini Reverb
analog or digital?”

The dry signal of your guitar passes straight
through Hall of Fame Mini Reverb and is in no
way digitized. The wet reverb signal is just add-
ed.

“Should I place Hall of Fame Mini
Reverb in front of the amp, or is it better
to run it in the amp’s FX loop?”

If your amp has an FX Loop and you use the
distortion of the amp, then you should definitely
place it in the loop. This will give you reverb on
your distorted guitar sound and not distortion on
top of your reverb.

The rule of thumb is: Place you reverb as late in
the signal chain as possible. Feel free to check
out the “Setup examples” section of this manual.

“Do the TonePrint pedals have balanced
or unbalanced inputs/outputs?”

Hall of Fame Mini Reverb has unbalanced I/Os,
as do all the other pedals in the TonePrint range.
Use cables with TS jacks (i.e., standard instru-
ment cables).

“Would it be possible to have a
‘Plate Shimmer’ TonePrint for
the Hall of Fame Mini?”

Unfortunately, no. We do not have a shimmer ef-
fect neither in the pedal nor as a TonePrint.

The shimmer effect is created by pitching the
wet guitar signal up an octave before sending it
into the reverb engine, and no pitch algorithm is
implemented in the pedal.

“Do I need a special version of TonePrint
Editor for Hall of Fame Mini Reverb?”

You will need version 2.0 or higher of the Tone-
Print Editor
for your Hall of Fame Mini Reverb.
Earlier versions do not support Hall of Fame Mini
Reverb.
