Stock seat removal
1. Unscrew three bolts from bottom of stock seat. These bolts will not be used with the
Mustang solo seat.
2. Remove stock seat from the pivoting bracket.
Mustang seat installation
1. Position solo seat onto pivoting bracket.
2. Insert the two ¼‐20 x ¾” long hex head
bolts with washers into the rear mount‐
ing holes in the pivoting bracket and into
the seat baseplate.
3. Insert the ¼‐20 x 1‐3/4” long hex head
bolt with washer into the front or nose
mounting hole in the pivoting bracket and into the seat baseplate.
4. Tighten all three bolts and pivot seat into riding position.

Hardware Kit HKSTCBC ‐ #78998 includes the following:
(2) ¼‐20 x ¾” long hex head bolts (1) ¼‐20 x 1 ¾” long hex head bolt
(3) 5/16” flat washers
