Figures 22 – 25 represent input voltage ripple and noise, measured at the input pins of the system board at
characteristic input and output voltages with 200 MHz bandwidth, under 16A constant current load. The
measurement was made using 50
Ω coax cable terminated with 50Ω at the oscilloscope. The input
capacitance consists of two Nichicon PL electrolytic capacitors, 1000
μF/16V each. The printed wiring board
(PWB) trace inductance is 2.1 nH. A ceramic capacitor of 1
μF is attached to the measurement point (input
pins on the system board, see Figure 21).
