Troubleshooting

In case of trouble check the table below before taking you
camera to be repaired.

Problem

Green indicator
does not light up.

The shutter does
not release.

The camera does
not work even after
new batteries have
been installed.

The photographs
are blurred.

The entire picture
appears cloudy.

Cause

• The lens cover is not

completely open.

• No battery is loaded.
• The battries are

inserted with the
wrong polarities.

• The batteries have

completely expired.

• The lens cover is not

completely open.

• The power is turned

off.

• The batteries are

expired.

• A rewound film is

loaded in the
camera.

• The film is not

loaded properly.

• In self-timer mode,

you stood
immediately in front
of the camera when
pressing the shutter
button.

• The camera moved

when the shutter
button was pressed
(camera shake).

• The lens is dirty.

Remedy

• Turn the mode dial

to .

• Load the batteries.
• Reinsert the

batteries correctly.

• Replace the new

batteries.

• Turn the mode dial

to .

• Turn the power on.

• Replace the new

batteries.

• Remove the film

and load a new
one.

• Reload the film.

• Remove the

batteries, then
insert them again
after about 10
minutes have
elapsed.

• Make sure you do

not stand
immediately in
front of the camera
when pressing the
shutter button.

• Hold the camera

firmly and gently
press the shutter
button.

• Wipe the lens with

a lens cloth.
