CrossFire™ PCI Express x16 graphics
cards that comply with the PCI
Express specifications. The figure
shows two graphics cards installed on
the PCI Express x16 slots.

cards for this motherboard.
• I n C r o s s F i r e ™ m o d e I n C r o s s F i r e ™ m o d e I n C r o s s F i r e ™ m o d e I n C r o s s F i r e ™ m o d e I n C r o s s F i r e ™ m o d e, install the master card in PCIEX16_1 (blue
slot). Each PCI Express x16 slot works at x8 bandwidth.
• I n s i n g l e c a r d m o d e I n s i n g l e c a r d m o d e I n s i n g l e c a r d m o d e I n s i n g l e c a r d m o d e I n s i n g l e c a r d m o d e, install the VGA card in PCIEX16_1 (blue
slot) to avail of full x16 bandwidth. Installing in PCIEX16_2 (black
slot) will cause the card to run at x8 bandwidth only.
• Connect the EZ Plug™ when using two graphics cards and a 20-pin
ATX power supply, or if the cards do not have auxiliary power plugs.
