2.3 Central Processing Unit (CPU)
The motherboard comes with an onboard Dual-Core Intel ® Atom™ D510 processor
and a specially designed CPU heatsink.
2.4 System memory
2.4.1 Overview
The motherboard comes with two Double Data Rate 2 (DDR2) SO Dual Inline
Memory Modules (DIMM) sockets.
The figure illustrates the location of the SO-DIMM sockets:
2.4.2 Memory Configurations
You may install 512MB, 1GB, or 2GB unbuffered non-ECC DDR2 SO-DIMMs into the
DIMM sockets.
• Always install DIMMs with the same CAS latency. For optimum
compatibility, it is recommended that you obtain memory modules from the
same vendor.
• The motherboard supports single-sided x16, double-sided x8, and
single-sided x8 DIMM modules only.
