Inserting the Battery and Memory Card
1 Open the LCD panel.
2 Turn off the power.
3 Open the battery cover as shown in the illustration.
4 Insert an SD card (sold separately) into the SD card
compartment until it clicks into place.
5 Insert the battery. Make sure that the + and – symbols
on the battery line up with the + and – symbols on your
camcorder.
6 Close the battery cover.
Note
Once you open the battery cover, the power of camcorder will be cut off. •
Charging the Battery
Before charging:
Make sure that the camcorder is turned off and the battery is inserted before starting. •
Before charging via computer, be sure that the computer is turned on. •
It is recommended to charge the battery for at least 8 hours before the fi rst time usage. •
1 Open the LCD panel.
2 Turn off the power.
3 Open the I/O cover.
4 Plug the Micro USB connector to the Micro USB port of
your camcorder using the Micro USB cable.
5 Charge the battery. Choose one of the following two
options:
A. Using the AC adapter
i. Plug the other end of the USB cable to the AC adapter.
ii. Plug the AC adapter to a wall outlet to start charging.
