13.) Troubleshooting
The EHR series is generally very reliable. If the unit
nevertheless is not operating , first check, whether it is wired
properly and whether the system is filled and properly
primed.
What to do when the unit gives no heat
- check setting and wiring of a room thermostat or timer, if
connected to the unit. The output of the room thermostat or
timer has to be a no loaded one (potential free) and has to
be closed, if heat is required.
- check the temperature setting of the EHR itself.
- If the LEDs show temperature cut out, reset it by pushing
ist knob.(Caution: If a safety temperature cut out has
tripped, you must investigate and correct the cause)
What to do when the heating performance is unsatisfactory:
- check design heating requirement
- check setting of a room thermostat or timer, if connected to
the unit.
- check temperature setting of EHR
