- Check battery charge (see page 3 for details)

- Check wire connections

- Check that your rain barrel has water in it

- Check hose for any kinks

- Check that hose is firmly secured from pump to the

control box

- Check pump filter for debris such as leaves and twigs

Periodic cleaning of pump filter will prevent

debris build up & allow maximum flow.

bAttery not CHArging

- Check alignment of solar panel (see page 6 for details)

- Check wire connections from control box to solar panel

- Check solar panel wire for any cuts or damage

- The battery may not charge during long durations of

cloudiness

WARNING: Do not attempt to charge the battery in an

enclosed area. Charge in a well ventilated area to prevent

incineration.

sAfety preCAutions

Always keep your rain barrels covered, keeping children

and pets from falling in — and keep mosquitoes and lar-

vae from reproducing, by covering all open holes.

Only use rain barrel water for your lawn or garden, NEVER

for drinking.

AdditionAl informAtion

Note: Some water will drip from the hose elbow during

normal operation.
