This appliance must be used solely for the purpose for •
which it has been designed, that is as a hair straightener
for home use. Any other use is to be considered improper
and therefore dangerous.
When using the appliance in the bathroom always
•
disconnect it from the socket after use, as the presence
of water could be dangerous even when the appliance is
switched off.
For extra protection, you are advised to install a differential
•
circuit breaker with a nominal operating differential current
of max. 30 mA (10mA is ideal) in the electric circuit of the
bathroom. Ask the installer for advice about this.
PLEASE NOTE: do not use the appliance next
to bathtubs, sinks or other containers filled
with water! Never immerse the appliance in
water!
This appliance should not be used by persons (including •
children) with partially reduced physical, sensorial or
mental faculties, and in any case not without specific
knowledge and experience, or without the supervision or
instructions for use provided by a responsible person.
Children must be supervised so that they do not play with
the appliance.
DO NOT touch the appliance with wet hands or with bare
•
or damp feet.
DO NOT pull the power cable, or the appliance itself, to
•
remove the plug from the socket.
DO NOT expose the appliance to humidity or weather
•
conditions (rain, sun).
Always disconnect the appliance from the mains supply
•
before cleaning or maintenance and when the appliance
is not in use.
If there is a fault and/or the appliance operates irregularly,
•
switch it off and do not tamper with it. For any repairs, only
contact an authorised after-sales service centre.
If the power cable is damaged it must be replaced by a
•
technical after-sales service centre, so as to prevent all
risks.
Use a dry cloth to clean the appliance.
•
DO NOT use hair spray when the appliance is switched •
on. This could cause a fire.
