Before first time use

Before using the appliance for the first time, please remove all the various
packaging materials and wipe the unit with a slightly dampened cloth.

Operate the appliance without any food inside it when using it for the first time.
This will burn off any residues left on during the manufacturing process.

Position the appliance so that it can be opened to its full extent.

residues left on by the manufacturing process being burned off. This is
completely harmless and is not a cause for concern.

After the appliance has gone through the above mentioned process clean
the appliance fully as described in “cleaning and maintenance”.
