CONNECTING THE NX-HDMIX-WP-IR-50

1) Connect the HDMI source output into the HDMI IN on the front plate of the

NX-HDMIX-WP-IR-50 (TX). (TX = Transmitter / RX = Receiver)

2) Connect two CAT-5E or CAT6 cables to both the outputs of NX-HDMIX-WP-IR-50 (TX)

and inputs of NX-HDMIX-WP-IR-50 (RX). Please pay attention to the correct connection of
the two cables, CAT5e/6-1->CAT5e/6-1 (The RJ45 connections must follow EIA/TIA 568B).

3) Connect the HDMI source input into HDMI OUT on the front plate of the

NX-HDMIX-WP-IR-50 (RX).

4) Connect the IR TX UNIT into NX-HDMIX-WP-IR-50 (TX). Permanently affix the TX IR emitter

over the source components IR window by removing the adhesive backing. In order to work
properly, the emitter must be placed on the source component IR receiver window.

5) Connect the IR RX UNIT into NX-HDMIX-WP-IR-50 (RX). The RX IR receiver should be

placed in direct line of sight with the handheld remote. Consider affixing the IR receiver on
the TV frame or base.

NOTE: In some cases the power adapter could be taken off. The power adapter is needed when
the signal source isn’t sufficient enough to drive the HDMI signal. Gently Insert/Extract cables.
