The electrical power used to operate
this unit is high enough to cause injury
or death to personnel. Connect the elec­
trical plug to a grounded power supply;
never use gas piping as an electrical
ground. Be sure the power supply is of
the correct voltage and phase. Do not
run the motor if the power supply is not
within acceptable limits. If a circuit
breaker or fuse is tripped, examine and
correct the problem before re‐starting
the unit. Inspect the suction hose regularly for
cuts, punctures or severe abrasion be­
fore operation. Replace the entire hose
assembly if there is any possibility of
leakage or exposure of the integral
spring steel strap inside the hose.
Never attempt to change the electrical
plug or alter the length of the power cord
with a splice. Equipment failure or per­
sonal injury could result if all connec­
tions are not waterproof and compatible
with the current used.
