If you select ‘ON / OFF Time’, you can set the start time for motion detection as the ‘ON TIME’ and the
end time as the ‘OFF TIME’. Motion detection is only activated during this period.
If you select ‘ALWAYS OFF’, motion detection is always deactivated.

SENSITIVITY

Sets the sensitivity of motion detection in a range from -7 (MIN) to 7 (MAX). The lower the sensitivity, the
more movement is required for an alarm to be triggered.

VELOCITY

Selects the velocity at which changes to the picture are interpreted as motion. The range is between -7
(MIN) and 7 (MAX).
The lower the velocity is set, the faster an object must move in order to trigger an alarm.

MASKING AREA

Defines the area of the camera picture in which a motion is detected. A maximum of 192 fields (16
columns x 12 rows) are available.

Select the detection area as follows:

Press [↑] and [↓] in the menu to select “MASKING AREA”.

Press [↑] and [↓] to move the cursor (red rectangle) up and down the screen, and [-] and [+] to
navigate left and right.

Press [ENTER] to select a field for motion detection (red field) or unselect it (clear field).

Quit the ‘Masking Area’ by pressing [↑] and [↓] above the edge of the miniature camera picture.
