5.7 Top Hat Installation (Option)
See enclosed drawings for top hat kit assembly.
NOTE: It is recommended that this kit be installed prior to installing an adjacent enclosure.
Remove solar shield and mounting
hardware (including standoffs)
Install top hat and use lifting eyebolts to
fasten into place
Install standoffs on top edge of top hat
Prepare and install the hatch panel with
cable entry boots as required
Add Roxtec cable entry boots or conduit
(3” conduit hole sizes are provided)
If aligned with other top hats, install feed
through fittings as required
Bolt on the solar shield
