b. plank assembly
1. Carefully place outer frame upside down on a
clean, flat surface.
2. Slide the platform planks under the frame one
end at a time being careful not to scratch the
surface of the frame. NOTE: Make sure to run
the planks all in the same direction so that all
of the channel cutouts are on the same end as
the cutouts in the frame rail.
3. Lower the crossbars into the tray as shown
(Fig. 3) and rotate into position.
4. The crossbars on each end and in the center will
bolt in with the supplied hardware. Insert the
channel nut within the crossbar as shown (Fig. 4)
and rotate 90 degrees. Place clamp washer on
top of the channel nut and slide both to the out-
side of the tray so they sit under the slot. Attach
with the hex head screw and washer.
5. Insert supplied rivets into all the holes con-
necting the crossbars, outer frame, and planks.
Fasten using a rivet gun. Fasten outer frame to-
gether at joints with supplied screws and tighten
crossbar fasteners.
