AC compressor modification
The 3.8L AC Compressor must be modified to clear the steering gear.
A. Using a 7/8-in countersink bit, drill out the factory hole as shown.
B. Use a grinder to bevel the corner of the mounting point as shown.
C. Grind the raised portion of housing flush as shown.
