Introduction

Introduction

Lexibook Junior is glad to introduce the electronic handheld version of Sudoku. This
popular number puzzle game is solved using logic and reasoning only as there is no
math involved. There are 10,000 built-in puzzles and 3 difficulty levels. 2 game
modes are available: the timer mode displays the time it takes you to find the
solution while the step count mode calculates the number of steps it takes you to
solve the puzzle.

WARNING: All packaging materials, such as tape, plastic sheets, wire ties and
tags are not part of this toy and should be discarded for your child’s safety.

BATTERY INFORMATION

Your Electronic Sudoku works with 2 alkaline 1.5V batteries type AAA (not
included).
1. Open the battery compartment cover located at the back
of the console using a screwdriver.
2. Install the 2 AAA batteries observing carefully the
polarity indicated at the bottom of the battery compartment,
and as per the diagram shown opposite.
3. Close back the battery compartment and tighten the screw.
Do not use rechargeable batteries. Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be
recharged. Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the toy before being
charged. Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision.
Different types of batteries or new and used batteries are not to be mixed. Only
batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended are to be used.
Batteries are to be inserted with the correct polarity. Exhausted batteries are to be
removed from the toy. The supply terminals are not to be short circuited. Do not
throw batteries into a fire. Remove the batteries if you are not going to use the
game for a long period of time.
WARNING: If the unit malfunctions or receives an electrostatic shock, press the
Reset key. If this proves to be ineffective, remove the batteries and insert them
again.

turn the unit on and off. Note: the unit will turn off
automatically if no key is pressed for more than 3
minutes.

press to show the correct answer in the selected cell. The
help function can be used 5 times per game only. Using
this function will add one step in ‘step count mode’.

If answer is correct, the number will flash and beep once.
If you entered the wrong number, it will beep and flash 6
times. Using this function will also add one step in ‘step
count mode’.

to clear the number the selected cell.
