4-2 Disassembly
DO NOT twist the plug and DO NOT pull by the wires.
CAUTION !
Under normal conditions, it will not be necessary to disassemble the IPT.
If however disassembly is necessary, use the following steps for
disassembling the device:
(See Figure 4-1 Typical Assembly/Disassembly and Figure 3-1 IPT122
Inside Views Types 1 Through 9).
1. Remove three (3) screws on back of gauge and lift electronic
assembly straight off.
2. Remove the six-pin sensor plug straight up.
3. Remove three (3) standoff halves.
