STEP 5:
With all items in place, as described above,
and ratchet wrench inserted in driver; work
ratchet wrench-driver screw in a counterclock-
wise direction while holding driver handle sta-
tionary.

STEP 4:
Screw proper size punch (see chart on page
4) on to adapter screw from the other side, as
shown in Fig. 5, tightening to a snug fit against
the wall of box.

STEP 6:
When operation is complete; remove assembly
from the box, unscrew the punch, and remove
the knockout slug from the die.
(Caution: Always remove the slug from the die
after every knockout operation).

MAINTENANCE:

All components should be kept clean and free
from dirt and grit.
The adapter screws and ratchet wrench mov-
ing parts should be kept well lubricated with a
#20 oil.

The driver unit screw, internal housing thread,
and steel balls should be lubricated periodical-
ly with a molybdenum disulfide based lubricat-
ing grease. Keeping the unit lubricated will not
only reduce wear but will also result in easier
operation.
