Sensor cap.

Factory calibration update module.

Desiccant cartridges (packaged separately).

Installing/Changing the Sensor Cap

Note:

When installing a sensor cap for first-time use, begin with step 3.

1.

To change the sensor cap, remove the old cap from the probe and discard.
Avoid touching or soiling the exposed internal probe window.

If the internal probe window is soiled, rinse with dilute isopropyl alcohol or
deionized water and blot completely dry. Do not wipe the probe window or use
any abrasive cleaners.

Note:

DO NOT use alcohol or other organic solvents to clean the black face of

the sensor cap. These solvents will destroy the sensor cap.

2.

Carefully remove the old seal by rolling it off with your fingers. To avoid damage
to the probe body, do not use sharp metal tools.

3.

Position the new seal on the probe body with the narrow shoulder of the seal
facing the probe tip. Slide the seal until it rests against the probe body threads.
See

Figure 1

. Do not touch the internal probe window.

4.

Finger-tighten the new sensor cap onto the probe, just until the seal is
compressed. Do not over-tighten. The cap will push the seal over the threads and
into position. See

Figure 1

.

Note:

Avoid handling the black face of the sensor cap.

5.

Visually inspect the probe seal to make sure the narrow shoulder of the seal is
inside the cap.
