Assembling the pour-thru module
Preparing the pour-thru module
1. Draw the cell outflow tube through the exit channel of the module from the inside
outwards.
2. Draw the cell inflow tube through the entry channel of the module from inside
outwards.
Note: Take care to avoid causing any kinks in the tubes!
Installing the pour-thru module
1. Open the cell compartment.
2. Inserting the multi cell holder.
3. Select the appropriate cell holder for the pour-thru cell type that will be used.
4. Insert the multi cell holder so that the selected cell holder points towards the front of
the instrument and the imprint of the cell type is visible. Do not tighten the locking
screws.
5. Position the pour-thru module on the multi cell holder so that the locking screw holes
of both modules are positioned exactly one above the other. The open lid of the
module points towards the back of the instrument.
6. Clean the pour-thru cell with a lint-free cloth and insert it in the cell holder so that the
cell windows coincide with those of the cell holder.
7. Connect the cell inflow and outflow tubes to the pour-thru cell.
Installing the sample inflow and sample outflow construction
1. Connect the inflow tube of the cell to the fitting at the bottom of the glass funnel and
clamp the glass funnel to the stand.
2. Connect the outflow tube of the cell to the top fitting of the stand pipe.
3. Connect the drain tube (black rubber tube) to the bottom fitting of the stand tube and
clamp the stand pipe to the stand. The free end of the rubber tube should be
connected to an appropriate waste vessel.
The tubes can be shortened if necessary.
