Alliance-pro Pendant Mount Installation
A. The Alliance Pendant Mount is designed for installation indoors or outdoors. Begin
by disassembling the Pendant Mount into 2 pieces (See Figure 4.1):
a. Remove Adapter Box from inside the Pendant Mount by removing the (4) screws.
B. Mounting the Pendant Mount to a masonry or other durable Ceiling surface:
a.
Follow common mounting practices required to safely mount the Alliance
Pendant Mount to the intended surface.
b.
Pull any cabling from the ceiling side through the Pendant Mount and mount the
Pendant Mount to the ceiling surface using the supplied or equivalent hardw are.
3 Description
IQA-PND Alliance-pro Pendant Mount Kit
The Alliance Pendant Mount allows indoor or outdoor installation
of an Alliance-pro dome camera on a ceiling surface and allows the
dome to be oriented toward the ground. The Alliance Pendant Mount
will work with both the indoor and outdoor versions of the Alliance-
pro dome camera. The included Adapter Box (Figure 3.1) allows the
Alliance-pro to be properly mounted into the Pendant Mount Kit. The
Adapter Box replaces the mounting plate used for indoor installations
(NI) or the Back Box used for outdoor installations (NE or NX models).
If the Alliance-pro camera kit you purchased includes an indoor
mounting plate or outdoor Back Box, you will not need this plate/box
for installation.
IQM-PND Alliance-mx Pendant Mount Kit
The Alliance Pendant Mount allows indoor or outdoor installation of an Alliance-mx
dome camera on a ceiling surface and allows the dome to be oriented toward the
ground.
4 Installation
NOTE: This manual describes how to install the Alliance-pro Pendant Mount (with Adapter Box)
and the Alliance-mx Pendant Mount products, and details ceiling mounting options. Installations
should be performed by qualified service personnel only in accordance with local, state and
national code(s).
