please be sure not to turn the unit on during daylight or in a well-
lit room – the image will be way too bright for your comfortable
viewing and it also may permanently burn the tube inside the
unit and will surely void your warranty. Please note that for the
safety of this device it has protective lens cover with special filter
– to test the unit during daytime when you bring your newly
bought unit home, or in the shop before you buy it. Please keep
this lens cover on during daytime – even if the unit is turned off.
In addition to the lens cover, we have equipped this unit with an
automatic gain control, which automatically adjusts the
brightness of the screen for most comfortable viewing and
prevents immediate tube damage during bright light conditions.
This high-tech feature however is not intended to completely
replace your attention and care for not exposing this scope to
daylight or any direct bright light.

RIFLESCOPE SPECIFICS:

1. This device can be adapted to the various hunting rifles for use

during the day with the daylight module, or, with the night module,
at night (where allowed by law) or during the hours of dusk and
dawn where natural light is too low to clearly see the target with the
daylight scope. Please take time to learn your state and local laws
concerning hunting laws and regulations. You may get information
by accessing this site:

http://www.huntinfo.org/

or by contacting

your local authorities. Luna Optics cannot be held responsible for
misuse or violation of any state or local laws concerning the
purchase and use of night vision riflescopes.

2. One of the advantages of our riflescope is its ability to withstand the

heavy recoil of most typical “large game” hunting calibers. We
recommend the maximum caliber to be .300 Weatherby magnum
(7.62x70mm) or similar calibers with the maximum bullet initial
power of 6,000 joules or less.

3. The unique construction and design of this set allows you to sight

the scope during daytime with the Daylight Module and then use the
same scope with the Night Vision Module at night without further re-
adjustment. Please note that scope will need periodic re-zeroing
especially after frequent use on calibers .308 and larger.
