NIGHT VISION MODE:

Your Day/Night vision system comes with three major parts:

Base Night Vision Module Daylight Module

Out of the box the unit comes as base connected with the Night Vision
Module (see image below).

INSTALLING THE
BATTERY:

When using with the
night module, your
night vision unit
operates on one 3V
Lithium battery, also
known as 123type.
To install the battery,
remove the Battery
Compartment Cover
(4). Install the
battery according to
the diagram
indicated on the
compartment. Once the battery is inside, replace the cover.

TURNING THE UNIT ON AND OFF:

Your night vision unit has a simple and convenient Power Switch (3). To
turn the unit ON, first flip the Protective Lens Cover (12) up (ONLY IN
THE DARK!
) and rotate the Power Switch (3) one dial to ON position.
Look through the rubber Eyecup – you should see the green glow. Even if
the image is not yet sharp, the unit is operating. To turn the unit OFF, flip
the power switch one dial back to the OFF position. The green glow will
disappear immediately indicating the unit is in OFF mode. Always replace
the protective lens cover (12) after the unit is turned off and no longer is
in use.

FOCUSING THE UNIT:

To obtain the sharp image, you must first rotate the Ocular Focusing
Wheel (7) in either direction, until you notice in which position the image
is at its best. After that, rotate the Distance Focusing Wheel (1) also until
the image is at its best. You may have to repeat the process again, until
the image is sharp and clear. Once the clear image is obtained, you no
longer need to adjust the Ocular Focusing Wheel, just rotate the Distance
Focusing Wheel to adjust the distance to the object you are viewing.
