Maintenance Schedule:
Daily Maintenance:
1. Drain water trap.
2. Daily shutdown should include: remove air-assist tip and static mixers from
housing and clean; remove turbulent mixer and mix chamber from gun and clean;
lightly dampen a rag with solvent and wipe down gun head, handle and actuator.
Do not soak gun in solvent.
3. Clean the resin hose assembly’s quick disconnects
Weekly Maintenance:
Track Assembly
1. Clean and lubricate the track wheels and track rail with red grease.
2. Check, Clean and lubricate the intermediate pump shaft and mount plate bushing.
Gel coat Pump Packing Set
Check gel coat pump piston rod oil reservoir, inspect for gel coat bypassing packing set.
1. Turn pump regulator to zero. Open ball valve at gel coat filter to release gel coat
pressure.
2. Insert a rod or Philips screwdriver into one of the holes in the gel coat-packing
nut. Snug the packing nut 1/8 th to 1/4 of a turn. Do not over tighten.
Gun maintenance:
1. Turn the pump regulator pressure to zero.
2. Open up the ball valve at the filter to relieve gel coat fluid pressure.
3. Open catalyst recirculation valve at the catalyst manifold to relieve catalyst fluid
pressure.
4. Snug Pro gun packing nuts (light snug on catalyst packing nut) and trigger the
gun on and off to seat the resin and catalyst seals.
5. Repeat a second time.
6. Close the catalyst recirculation valve at the catalyst manifold.
