7.7 Basic Cleaning of Plate Filter
Hold the plate filter (Fig. 17/1) in vertical
position and let it fall down from a height
of 3 ft. (1 m) to the even floor as repre-
sented in Fig. 19.
The soiled side of the fil-
ter has to point to the
bottom.
