6. Pull the hydraulic pump toward the rear of the saw to

tighten the belt.

7. Retighten the two hydraulic pump adjustment

screws. Retest the belt tension and readjust the
pump as necessary to reach the required tension
setting. DO NOT exceed the manufacturer’s tension
settings.

Replacing the Cooling Fan Belt

1. Lift up on the idler pivot arm and remove the belt

from under the smaller idler pulley. Gently release
the idler pivot arm.

2. Remove the belt from all other pulleys.
3. Loop the new belt around the cooling fan pulley and

engine pulley, and over the larger idler pulley.

4. Lift up on the idler pivot arm and loop the belt under

the smaller idler pulley. Gently release the idler pivot
arm to tension the belt.


Note: When fitting the belt guard on the saw, align the
pulley on the back of the guard with the section of belt
between the cooling fan pulley and engine pulley
.

belts.











In-Line Fuel Filter

Replace the in-line fuel filter every 500 hours or when
buildup is present in the filter.

1. Lower the saw so it is level.
2. Place a drainage tray under the fuel hoses and filter.
3. Close the fuel shutoff valve.
4. Remove the hose clamp from both sides of the filter.
5. Remove the filter from the hoses. Drain any

escaping fuel and dispose of the used fuel and filter
according to city, state, and federal regulations.

6. Point the arrow on the new filter toward the engine.
7. Place the fuel hose coming from the fuel shutoff

valve onto the end of the filter (the arrow on the filter
should not point toward this hose). Push the hose
tightly up against the edge of the filter and secure
with the hose clamp.

8. Place the fuel hose coming from the fuel pump onto

the other end of the filter (the arrow on the filter
should point toward this hose). Push the hose tightly
up against the edge of the filter and secure with the
hose clamp.

9. Open the fuel shutoff valve and check for leaks.
