EXD-1L LABEL INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Remove label from box and stretch it out flat on table or other horizontal surface with clear carrier facing upward.
Grasp one corner of the clear carrier and pull horizontally back along the label while holding the bottom carrier down.
While pulling the clear carrier if any letters start to adhere to the clear carrier, stop pulling the carrier before letter is
completely removed and gently loosen the edge of the letter with an aid of a sharp blade and allow the letter to
adhere back onto the lower carrier.
To apply to door surface, first clean surface of all grease, dust or dirt. Once clear carrier is completely removed
position the bottom carrier with the letter against the surface. To make the letters adhere to the new surface, rub the
letters with a flat smooth object such as an edge of a credit card or blunt end of a screwdriver. Do not use a sharp
object as it could damage the lettering or the door surface. Once all the letters are burnished against the surface,
slowly peel off the carrier. If a letter is not adhering allow carrier to cover the letter and re-burnish the letter. The
label has two sets of numbers 15 and 30. Apply the correct number per the building code ordinance in your area.
