The RFAC-24 is used with the KBAC-24D Adjustable Frequency Drive to provide RFI (EMI) suppression. It installs easily onto the
KBAC-24D PC board with quick-connect terminals. The KBAC-24D with the RFAC-24 complies with CE Council Directive
39/336/EEC relating to the Class A Industrial Standard.

Installation Instructions
Install the RFAC-24 onto the four quick-connect terminal of the KBAC-24D PC board
(L1A, L1B, L2A, L2B) as described below. See Safety Warning, on page 2 of the
KBAC-24D Installation and Operating Instructions manual (Part No. A40289).
Note: When installing the RFAC-24, the optional On/Off AC Line Switch (Part No. 9482)
cannot be used.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
RFAC-24
Part No. 9507 for Model KBAC-24D
1. To open the front cover of the KBAC-24D,
the four captive panel screws must be
loosened so they are no longer engaged in the
case bottom.
2. Remove the (2) jumper assemblies that
are installed on the L1A & L1B and L2A &
L2B terminals of the KBAC-24D PC
board. Using pliers, gently rock the
female terminals back and fourth
vertically while pulling them
upward. See Figure 1, above.
3. Install the RFAC-24
onto the L1A, L1B, L2A, L2B
terminals of the KBAC-24D.
Wire the ground ring terminal
to the green ground screw located on the
inside enclosure of the KBAC-24D. Note the proper
orientation of the RFAC-24. See Figure 2.
