Quick Power On Self Test [Enabled]

Use the Quick Power On Self Test option to speed up the POST after the computer is

turned on. If enabled, BIOS shortens or skips some POST check items.

Disabled

Normal POST occurs after the computer is turned on.

Enabled

(Default)

Quick POST occurs after the computer is turned on.

LAN(CN17/UP) BootROM [Disabled]

Use the LAN(CN17/UP) BootROM option to enable the system to be booted from a

remote system.

Disabled

(Default)

The system cannot be booted from a remote system

through the LAN.

Enabled

The system can be booted from a remote system

through the LAN.

Boot Device

Use the Boot Device options to select the order of the devices the system boots from.

There are three boot device configuration options:

First Boot Device [Default: Floppy]

Second Boot Device [Default: HDD-0]

Third Boot Device [Default: LS120]

Using the default values, the system first looks for a floppy disk drive to boot from. If it

cannot find an FDD, it boots from a HDD. If both the FDD and the HDD are unavailable,

the system boots from a LS120 drive.
