ASAI Performance Performance
Overview
This chapter contains performance information to be used with the AT&T Adjunct/
Switch Application Interface feature. The topics included in this chapter are:
■ Voice response integration performance
■ Data screen delivery performance
■ Routing application performance
For general information concerning performance of the CONVERSANT Voice
Information System (VIS), refer to the Appendix E, “Performance Information” in
CONVERSANT VIS Version 4.0 Operations, 585-350-703.
Each VIS can support one ASAI link. Up to eight VIS machines can be connected
to the ISDN BRI Line Circuit Pack installed on the DEFINITY Generic 3i. The fol-
lowing gives the call volume capacities that each VIS can support based on the
type of application. Note that the values vary depending upon whether you are
using the local database or the remote database (accessed via the 3270 link), the
number of records in the database, duration of the script being played, etc.
